How much does a roof repair cost? What affects the price
Why we don't quote blind, and the factors that decide what a roof repair costs in the City of London.
Why there's no single price
Two leaks that look the same inside can have very different causes. We inspect first and give a written, fixed quote so you know the cost before any work starts.
Access
Access is often the biggest variable in central London: whether a ladder is enough, or whether a tower, cherry picker or scaffold — and any licence for the pavement — is needed.
Materials and extent
Matching natural slate, lead, or a specialist flat roof system costs more than standard materials. The size of the damaged area matters too.
Urgency
Out-of-hours make-safe work is priced separately from the permanent repair. We'll explain both.
Getting a fair quote
Ask for photos of the problem and a written breakdown. Our customers frequently mention that our quotes didn't change during the job.
